The following Privacy Policy sets out the manner in which DeGoogl.org ("we", "us") deals with personal data when you visit our website. The website is operated from Belgium by neils1108, and you can contact us via neils@neils1108.eu.

What we collect

We are not asking you to register an account and we do not carry out any analytics, advertising or tracking. The website only deals with the following data.

Here is the technical data: upon loading a page, your browser sends various details to our server, including your IP address, the time of the request, the page you requested, the browser and device type you are using, as well as the page that brought you there. Our hosting provider, Netlify, handles this information in order to provide the site and ensure its security. The server logs are stored for [X] days before being deleted.

When you send us a suggestion by emailing us, we get the message that you have written, and if you provide it, your email address as well. We use this information merely for reading and responding to your message and for improving the site.

Third-party resources: In order for the website to be displayed properly, your browser will load some resources from other companies, namely the Chillax font from Fontshare (api.fontshare.com). When your browser makes these requests, the companies concerned obtain your IP address and typical browser information. We have no control over what they do with this data; for more details, please refer to their individual privacy policies. These companies may be based outside the European Economic Area.

Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

• To run and secure the website. Our legitimate interest (as provided in GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
• To reply to the messages you send us; our legitimate interest in replying to you or in carrying out the actions which you request (Article 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).

We never sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising or for profiling.

Who we share it with

We will only share your data with the service providers who assist us in running the site, such as our hosting provider and the other third-party services listed above, and we may also release the data if required by law.

How long we keep it

The server logs are kept for [X] days and messages are retained only for as long as is necessary to deal with them before being deleted, unless required by law to keep them for a longer period.

Your rights

According to the GDPR you can access your personal data, have it corrected, ask for it to be erased, limit or object to its processing and obtain it in a portable format.
